How do you experience God's comfort:
2. Release the hurt. You must stop focusing on what is lost and start focusing on what is left. "...Do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! (Says the Lord) Isaiah 43:18-19." Here are some of the options that you can do with your hurt:
A. You can repress it.
B. You can rehearse it.
C. You can resent it.
D. You can release it
Let it go and let God handle it, trust him.
There is a difference between mourning and moaning. Mourning is legitimate grief. Moaning is a pity party, a poor me attitude. The hurts that hurt the most are the one's that are out of your control. "Dear friends, never avenge yourselves. Leave that to God, for He has said He will repay those who deserve it (Romans 12:19)."
