Let's look at the World's Value System:
A. People want to be famous (Heb.11 :24).
B. People want to feel good and be happy (Heb. 11:25).
C. People want to make a fortune (Heb. 11:26).
Every temptation that you will face will be under one of these categories. Every ad on television falls under one of these categories. Moses walked away from these things. He had it all. Under Pharaoh, Moses learned how to say no. He had his own value system.
Let's look at Moses' Value System:
A. God's plan is more valuable than popularity (Hebrew 11:24). He refused to be known as the son of Pharoah's daughter.
B. People are more valuable than pleasures (Hebrews 11:25). He chose discomfort over pleasure.
C. God's peace is more valuable than possessions (Hebrews 11:26).
He had wine, women and songs. But no possession could give him happiness. "It's your choice." Choose wisely. Be blessed!
