We understand what we see through suffering. Now lets look at what we say through suffering. There are certain Psalms of Lament (Psalms 6.13,35,42,43,88,102,109,137). These are Psalms where people are really suffering and struggling.
There are three parts to the Lament: 1. Accusations against God. "Why do you hide your face and forget our misery and oppression (Psalms 44:24)." "Awake O Lord! Why do you sleep? Rouse yourself! Do not reject us forever (Psalm 44:23)." What he's saying here is, God get up, why are you being lazy? God doesn't like dishonest prayers. Tell God how you feel. God gives us the right to come to him and tell him what's on our heart, but faith says I will still trust Him.
