Since wisdom will protect, direct, and perfect you according to Proverbs. There are three questions that you can ask in order to use wisdom to judge every conversation: 1. Is it true - If someone starts to tell you something about someone who is absent from the conversstion, stop them and ask, "Is it true?" I'm not talking about whether it came from a reliable source. Just because it came from a reliable source doesn't mean it isn't gossip. "Death and life are in the power of the tongue" (Proverbs 18:21). You have to learn to uphold and encourage one another. If you can't say something good, then don't say anything at all. Just because you have an opinion, doesn't mean you need to express it. Just because you are being honest, doesn't mean you need to share everything. Proverbs has a lot to say about the words you speak. Your success with God and man is linked to communication. Energize your conversation with positive Proverbs power.
