The last question to ask when judging conversations is:
3. Is it edifying? Does it minister grace, not only to the hearer, but to the one you are talking about? Ask yoursrlf, "How is what I am saying going to affect the person I am talking about?" How are others going to perceive this person after our conversation? Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it edifying? If you can't minister something that is edifying or say something that is full of grace, then you need to ask God to put a guard on your lips and let no corrupt communication come out of your mouth. This is how you use Godly wisdom.
