I want you to practice these 7 steps for 21 days. Why? Because it takes 21 days to develop a new habit pattern of any kind. If you work on this and practice this everyday, you will begin to develop "new neuro grooves" in your brain. This will lead to you thinking and acting more optimistic automatically. You will also become more positive towards the challenges that you face. Your job is to use everything as a stepping stone to rise up and go to the level God called you to, and not a stumbling block and trip over it. "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us (Rom. 8:37)."
Step #1: Positive Self Talk (make confessions) - "That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord (Rom. 10:9a). Speak in agreement with the word of God regardless of what it looks like. You control how you talk, nobody else does. Always talk in a positive way, be optimistic in your conversation with yourself and others. 95% of your emotions as it relates to how you feel about yourself is determined by how you talk to yourself. "...But David encouraged himself in the Lord (1Sam.30:6)."
