One of the clearest examples of the language of faith in operation can be seen in Psalm 23. Through studying this Psalm you can begin to better learn the language of faith. We see a language that can be expressed during times of normalcy, during times of danger, and in the sight of enemies. Everyone needs faith in their day to day lives. Using the language of faith works even when everything is normal. David begins Psalms 23:1 by recognizing God's sovereignty and graciousness during times of normalcy. He says, "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want." You and I should do the same, we should make continual confessions of God's abundance to us, and giving him the glory for it. Tomorrow we will begin to dissect the 23rd Psalm so that you can see this language of faith in effect.
