Last week we talked about "Going Home For Christmas. " This week we are going to talk about "Being Home For Christmas. " There's no place like home for Christmas. The Bible has alot to say about home. What is it about home that touches us so deeply? Let's look at some things: 1. We long for home because, home is where your story begins. This is where you were shaped and molded. Certain things happen at home that will never ever be able to be created again. Most have fond memories of their home. "These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home...Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates (Deut.6:6-7,9)." In Genesis Adam and Eve is asked out of the house, but in revelation, God has a plan to get us back home.
